Girls go BOOM #DIY sessions
Brat Poison (CA)
Brat Poison is a DIY riot grrrl band from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada formed by two gal pals Crystal and Erica. Their music packs a girl punk punch- offering a relatable and fresh female perspective on life, relationships, and the genre. Brat Poison aims to keep punk inclusive and accessible, reminding others they don’t need fancy equipment and years of practice to start a band.
Nala Brown (NL)
Her sets are an eclectic blend of tracks by Detroit legends, New York’s new generation of club music producers, edits of her favorite contemporary pop and R&B stars, and some high energy percussion. While always holding on to a very danceable groove, she is never afraid to surprise with a Princess Nokia tune mid-set. The Rotterdam-born-and-raised artist frequently plays MONO in her hometown, where she has organized different parties and hosted talks with her AMPFEMININE collective as well.
